The rising cost of educational materials, limited local access to project resources, and a lack of trusted online exchange platforms creates significant burdens for students and parents. This often leads to rushed, disposable purchases, undermining sustainability.
Problem Statement
Students face financial strain from educational material costs, struggle to find local project resources, and lack trustworthy platforms for peer-to-peer exchange, leading to unsustainable consumption habits.
My primary focus was the renter-side experience. I contributed to research, prototyping user flows, and branding to ensure a trustworthy and engaging platform.

We analyzed existing apps to inform the design of a new platform for students to rent, buy, and sell second-hand materials at cheaper prices. A key feature was student discounts from local store collaborations.

Equip is an innovative mobile application designed to facilitate a secure and sustainable circular economy on college campuses. It empowers students to easily exchange educational materials, reducing costs and fostering a stronger, more resourceful community.

The project showed a strong demand for a secure, college-monitored platform. I learned the importance of iterative branding and recognized my strengths within a collaborative team.
